A Collector’s Apartment

These photos come from an issue of Architectural Digest from the 1980s that some chap scanned and put online. The article that these pictures accompanied was about the New York apartment of a collector specialising in military items, but unfortunately the scanner did not post any further information.

I have visited the Mario Praz Museum in Rome but this is totally different, unique and original. BRAVO !!

That was Christopher Ross’s apt on East 78th St..
.He moved to Munich and took his collection with him.
One of the best 1st Empire collections in the world.
