Health Nut vs. Hearty Eating

Via Mulier Fortis, this comparison reaches us. The woman on the left, 51 years old, is a television “health guru” who advocates a holistic approach to nutrition and diet, a pescetarian diet high in organic fruits and vegetables, detox diets, colonic irrigation, and supplements, and other things too frightening to mention. The woman on the right, 50 years old, is a television cook who’s a strong advocate for meat, butter, and desserts.

You do the math!

Love it! Think this proves that happy living has a large role in healthy living.

I am no fan of Gillian McKeith but I have to say the photographic comparisons are misleading inasmuch that the shot of McKeith was taken during filming of I’m a Celebrity……’ in the Australian jungle/rainforest and the pic of Nigella was posed for the cameras.

I met Miss Lawson once, in Florence, when I was nineteen; we were both traveling with friends. Even then I recall her as being rather luscious and lusty, and regarding with some puzzlement the notion that we all ought to visit the university student canteen for dinner.

I am only 3 years younger than both of them, and my first reaction to the one on the left was, my!, she looks way more than 3 years older than me! Is that what her brand of “healthy” does? The other one looks about what I would expect, so I won’t be afraid to try her food.

Good. Then I’m on the right track.

Nigella, my darling, the sexiest chef on the BBC! Andrew, you have good taste. I approve.
