Gosh, it makes me sound like a loser! In my defense, the boys were out at the movies, and I was tired from reading Henry James all day so I played around with the marvel of photoshop.

August is over though so its back to work for all of us :(

Originally it was Cussac (or de Cussac, to be precise). It was then anglicized to de Cusack and gaelicized to de Cíosóg, later sometimes MacIosog.

In its anglicized version, it has sometimes evolved into Cusick, so you could have Cusack & Cusick to parallel Dupond et Dupont (or “les Dupondt”, as they are conveniently rendered in French).
