The ‘CNN Effect’

A number of International Relations students at St Andrews have created this video (5:18) illustrating what is known in that field of study as the ‘CNN effect‘ on a crisis in fictional ‘Berniestan’.

The Three Massketeers appreciate and link the ‘CNN Effect’ at our blog, giving credit to Andrew Cusack, Esq.

Though the American accent is performed with dripping condescension and hyperbole, the entire video is, IMO, an accurate albeit sophomoric depiction of Mark Steyn’s insights into the spineless West.

Many thanks.

Oh it’s all in a light spirit. Just as if one was to do a British accent, it would be either either stiff-upper-lip or cockney, but eitherway ridiculously overdone.

A most fascinating look at the poor bernesteinians and their plight. I mean, their brains must bake under those rags and as such, they cannot be responsible for their savage nature. Add the fact that they must get sand in every crack, it is perfectly understandable… May they one day find the freedom that Capitalism brings so that they can purchase themselves into rehab.
