What a sad, terrible thing. A melancholy way to have to end your days at St Andrews.

We will all pray for him and his family.

My sincere sympathies for his family, friends and fellow students.
Huic ergo parce, Deus.
Pie Jesu Domine,
Dona eis requiem. Amen.

May angels lead him into Paradise; may the martyrs receive him at your coming and lead him to the holy city of Jerusalem. May a choir of angels receive him, and with Lazarus, who once was poor, may he have eternal rest.

A horrible and utterly tragic loss for everyone.

Maiorem hac dilectionem nemo habet ut animam suam quis ponat pro amicis suis. What a chivalrous young man–in the very best sense of that word.
