Walsingham Tabernacle

I had not noticed that the tabernacle in the brand new Church of Our Lady of Walsingham in Houston, Texas was a smaller replica of the Ark of the Covenant.

Rather appropriate, considering one of Mary’s titles is ‘Ark of the New Covenant’.

Andrew, I am amazed I found this picture of the Ark of the Covenant at of all places, Our Lady of Walsingham in Houston.

Just yesterday I found out about this new Anglican Use Rite Parish in Houston and I blogged others about it this morning.

Just an hour ago I suggested to Fr. Mike that our ecclesial team take a pilgrimage up to Houston to visit this “castle.”

So I invite you to see the blog at http://eucharist-emc2.blogspot.com/
2007/07/marygoldstar-of-evangelization.html to catch a glimpse of what I have been working on for the better part of 3 years.

The Ark of the Covenant is central to the Rainbow Bridge concept…the way it is displayed at OLOW is perfect, with the Crucifix right above the Mercy seat.

GBU and thanks for your fine photography.
