A St Andrews Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is one of the things you miss most when you’re abroad. A., Chris, Dave, Jenny, and Za-Za were kind enough to host a Thanksgiving at their residence on Queens Gardens last Friday, since we don’t get Thanksgiving Day itself off.

Chris enjoins the assemblage to listen to one of his famous “Tall Tales o’ C.” with which he peppers his conversations.

Dave Watt scuffles with Jamie Branda, who sports his recently-captured-Frank-Abignale-Jr look.

The Ladyfolk.

I have no idea.

George Irwin’s smile is the British Army’s secret weapon.

Master of the House A.B. with Great Karoo inhabitant Nilene Hennessy.

A much-enjoyed feast.

Paddy Crawford, of the salvaging Crawfords.

C. makes a point.

The ‘Zoolander’ shot.

Za-Za!

The C.-Crawford alliance.

Jenny.

Za-Za and Ed.

Mr. Washington.

The whole evening this portrait of A.’s grandfather was staring down at us, eyeing our turkey, potatoes, sausages wrapped in parma ham, and stuffing with particular envy.
