More or less, the musings of a graduate of a Scottish university, born in New York, formerly resident in South Africa, and now living in London.

    It is difficult not to feel some envy of your stay there. Kudos for the courage to plan this trip, and its fairest purpose of learning Afrikaans.

    So, I’m just curious: after all is said and done, which is your ‘taal’ level now?
