Well done Australia. The Australian Government (Your Prime Minister and Cabinet) has once again selected another outstanding Governor General to replace Major General Jefferies. Their Excellencies will truly maintain the Vice Regal character to Government House.

May your country continue to be a shining light for other nations to follow. As a Canadian I truly feel Australia gives us much to admire and to learn from. Your nation is one that sets high standards in excellence for the rest of the World to follow.
